The goal of Camp LEAD is to create a community of teachers who wish to improve the quality of education in Ukraine through leadership and equality in an active democracy.
Our trainings cover topics such as student-centered learning, NUS reforms, academic integrity, inclusive education and differentiation, media literacy, technology in the classroom, and more.
Founded in 2017 by English Teacher Iryna Luchyn and Peace Corps Volunteer Emile Gable, Camp LEAD events have trained hundreds of teachers and impacted thousands of students.
The Camp LEAD community is comprised of English teachers from primarily small village communities in all parts of Ukraine. Our community spans the map, including all 24 oblasts.
